Barry's Diaries – 80

Barry told his folks where he was going, and they exchanged smiles. He  knew they were as happy as he was that he had a ‘girl friend’.

He pulled on a turtleneck, his jacket, boots, jeans and went out, walking to the bus stop.

He didn’t have as long to wait as he imagined, and treated the trip as if it were a tour, looking out, finding landmarks.

He saw the place quickly as he got off the bus and began the walk.

He assumed he had a bit of a wait for Madison.   He ordered coffee not that he liked coffee but he hated tea and wanted something warm.

Madison entered before his coffee was served.
