Barry's Diaries – 60

Standing in the kitchen, reheating the meal, he felt more part of his family than ever in his life.   Almost an equal, not the little kid or the lonely child.

This was a real family of people who cared about each other. Why hadn’t he noticed this last year?

When his folks came home they quickly ate, changed, and were on the way.

Everything went as planned, and no one enjoyed the game more than ‘Mav’ Barry.

He became the most rabid supporter of the team because being here ‘excused’ his absence from the obnoxious Crowd; the only group he’d be able to link with to prevent him being that pathetic Nobarry he’d been before he had moved to this city.
