Barry's Diaries – 45

Throughout the month of October, Barry hung with his basketball friends, one of whom belonged to a group called ‘The Crowd’.

The Crowd were second/third level kids, because the Kings and Queens of the school were a locked group and kept to themselves.

One of them was the star basketball player who ignored his team mates.  Barry once heard him tell one of them;

“On the Court communicate, off the Court, don’t even look at me.”

Barry would have liked to be part of the top crew but settled on this Friday afternoon invitation to Lou’s diner, where the Crowd hung out.
