It was at basketball practice when Barry played well, and the guys spoke with him. They picked up his accent, asked where he was from.
As he’d rehearsed he gave the name of the town, told them where it was located.
Some one asked a question, he gave a two word answer, because he watched for the ‘trap’.
Nobarry would be asked; “What happened in Miss Dingle’s class?”
Nobarry would begin to explain and after a sentence the guy who’d asked him would turn to talk to someone else, and he’d be left with his mouth open.
It happened to him all the time, when he was Nobarry.
