Barry's Diaries – 36

Each day, Barry went to school as Cool Barry, focused on how he looked, how he sounded, how he moved.   He did his work, had no problem with that, and no problem with doing the sit still focus thing in class.

Lunch was a bit different.   He didn’t know anyone and seeing the noisy crowd in the lunchroom, withdrew     He went to the library to do his homework, deciding to carry a health drink from home.

He’d spend lunch break in the library; something he’d always done from the first time a bully tipped his plate into his lap.

Barry didn’t want to hide in the library but until he knew the lunch room paradigm figured it was better to not be there.
