Alphabet Challenge Letter H

My brother-in-laws got hiccups. When they came they would stay for weeks at a time. Once they put him in the hospital to see if they could help solve the problem because there are actually many unpleasant side effects. It was horrible to watch him deal with and endless neighbors lined up to give suggestions that might help with the issue.

Hallelujah

It is such a hopeful word that starts with the letter H and it’s featured in one of my favorite songs.

I’d heard there was a secret chordThat David played and it pleased the LordBut you don’t really care for music, do you?Well, it goes like thisThe fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major liftThe baffled king composing HallelujahHallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah

Well, your faith was strong but you needed proofYou saw her bathing on the roofHer beauty and the moonlight overthrew yaShe tied you to the kitchen chairShe broke your throne and she cut your hairAnd from your lips, she drew the HallelujahHallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah

Well baby, I’ve been here beforeI’ve seen this room and I’ve walked this floorI used to live alone before I knew yaAnd I’ve seen your flag on the marble archAnd love is not a victory marchIt’s a cold and it’s a broken HallelujahHallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah

Well, maybe there’s a God aboveBut all I’ve ever learned from loveWas how to shoot somebody who outdrew yaAnd it’s not a cry that you hear at nightIt’s not somebody who’s seen the lightIt’s a cold and it’s a broken HallelujahHallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah
