After Abuse – 1

When one escapes a relationship, one needs to  fully analyse what happened. One has to go over every action, word, feeling.  

This is done to avoid repeating the situation and not misinterpreting  the behaviour of others.

If one doesn’t go over every second of that abusive relationship to see how it was done, but simply excretes it, mistakes will be made.

One might not see the essence of  the abusive acts.  One might miss the signs when they are slightly different, or  wrongfully attribute attempts at abuse to a perfectly innocent interaction.

The need to examine the abusive relationship must be done in a certain manner so as not to overwhelm one’s current situation.
