365_Day_Photo_Challenge: Day 8, Evening Forest, Starry Night

Tonight, I got lazy and yet as I got chilled sitting on the concrete outside photographing the trees, one idea came after the next. I am still experimenting with night photography but there is so many ideas that todays’ shoot sparked.

I plan on doing one large collection of all the photos and than smaller collections of each shoot. There is a common theme that is running through all the photos but I haven’t quite put my finger on it yet.

I am excited to see how the photos change from now to 357 days from now. What a great collection of time and pictures. I also plan on having a poem for each one but that is taking some time and work and will probably happen when I get the common thread between the shoots.

  1. You need an inspiration for a poem? How about…”Starry, starry night, paint your palette blue and gray, look out into summer’s day with eyes that see the darkness in my soul…” Lol! I dunno if that is right but it is a song for Vincent Van Gogh

    • You are all about the challenge-I’m in!! I can’t tell you how much this 365 day photo challenge has forced me to dig deep into my photographic eye. I have not missed a day yet-each photograph has been for that day-I even make sure I shoot before 1200 midnight so it’s technically the same day. The drive and discipline is truly a wonderful gift for me and I thank you-expect a poem for starry night and an explanation why I didn’t send one with these pix.

      • I sure envy your photos and the dedication and discipline you maintain in this challenge. My photography skill is bleh and a real cam intimidates me bigtime haha. Starry night which actual title is “Vincent” is a very inspirational and heart-touching song. I grew up listening to it coz my uncle is a Don McLean fan. Will look forward to the poem and to more beautiful pictures then
