The US Bank Captial One has a TV commercial they play all the time. It ends with the tagline what’s in your wallet. I was walking by my kitchen table yesterday thinking about what was on the lazy susan we keep on the table, and how that has changed in the past five years. It used to be; we had salt, pepper, and napkins on the table. Now we have spices, Siricha and the Maryland staple Old Bay.
Old Bay is the biggest change; the other stuff was usually just in the pantry as only one person (me) used the spicy sauce. Now ½ the family loves spicy the other half the family complains that even pepper is too spicy.
Funny how things change.
Moving to Maryland truly matured the tastebuds of my children and increased the desire to have Old Bay.
