In the modern age, the concept of scanners is changing. First off, many people now simply use their cell phone cameras to take pictures of documents they want to share. But there are still solutions built and delivered that scan using dedicated scanning hardware. The reality of a cell camera is the distance it is from you and the amount of shakiness you have when you hold it to take the picture. Oh yeah and I don’t care which cell phone you have, you are pushing the screen toward the object when you select a picture. Digital point and shoots, DSLR’s and traditional cameras have a button on the top. It is a more natural motion that your body is built to compensate for. That said, a scanner still has some value.
I am not going to do a full-on review/argument/discussion in a photo challenge post.
The picture today is of the Dacuda Document scanner. Small, portable and works with a cell phone or with your computer to provide you with quick scanning and conversion of scanned materials!

You are absolutely right about using your cell phone vs a scanner. You are always right about technology. 🙂
Thanks, Carol. I promise however I am not always right on Technology. I have picked quite a few oops technologies over the years.
I know I have learned a ton from your posts.
Thank you! That is why I post! To make sure what I know gets shared!
