A Gray winter landscape. I walked around the yard looking for remnants of the last bit of color. There was an absence of light. The sky was cold and gray.
I took a couple of photos but realized the difficulty of finding a shot was inevitable.
Every season has its moment of clarity. Something nature teaches us that we need to know, unfortunately most of the time we’re not sure what the message is we need to realize.
This afternoon I regrouped, adjusted my color palette and realized I was in the full grip of winter and instead of fighting it, I embraced it. It’s not the time we spend in between lives that destroys us, it’s how we handle those moments of slack tide.
A season comes and a season goes…it does not stay forever. And so as in everything else in life, it is best to embrace it than to fight it. Stunning photos.
Wow, what a motivational and inspirational post. Our attitudes define our moods.
Great photos when we look with different eyes.
Isn’t it true? We have so much more control over our own moods than we think and a whole lot less control on things that happen around us than we know.
Great post! Nice pictures!
Thanks Kim-your positive words are a blessing when the inspiration weakens. Thank you!!
Love all of these Steve. Superb photography!!
