You are probably wondering why I would share a photo of an old cassette tape. This is no ordinary cassette to me. You see the handwriting belonged to my beloved grandfather. I was a teenager, when he made this cassette tape for me.
I thought I lost this years ago. When we moved, my husband surprised me. He found this cassette and wanted to know, whose handwriting it was, as it did not look familiar to him. He was surprised when I told, him, it was my grandfather.
I was very close to my grandfather and this cassette, although no longer plays, still has a lot of meaning to me. It is the only thing that I have with my grandfather’s handwriting on it. I can’t tell you how happy I was about still having this cassette. I had thought I lost it long ago.

It was a tape of a whole album that he made for me because it was only on record.

i digitized all my grandfather’s films from years ago, but I kept all the labels he wrote on!
