Saturday my husband Ray took us all to an Eckert’s fun day. His job gave their employees a chance to take their families to this fun day. We picked apples, pumpkins, feed the animals, and many other things.
The picture is all about a cannon than shoots small pumpkins out of it and shoots them high in the sky. We all had so much fun. I have more pictures to share, but I may only be able to post a few at a time due to loading issues.

That sounds like a really fun day! I think it’s always good for the company or any organization to host a family day like this. It really helps to create the bonding and kids or even adults will have lots of fun too.

We go to the orchard near us every year. They have a pumpkin chunker. The money goes to the Children’s Hospital of DC. But if you hit the target, you get 500 bucks!

It is just all about fun things to do for the whole family. Thank you Alex for stopping by,
but they’ve got pumpkin chucking cannons, and catapults and trebuchets and slingshots and so many ways to launch a pumpkin. if you ask me, one is more than enough…
The churches and schools organised these kind of events to raise fund and they were called fetes. I used to help organise.
