Recently, I told you all that my husband had to go to the emergency room, because of a swollen knee. Well, better results that had expected. Ray was then sceduled to see a joint specialist. The doctor knew it was not an infection due to no pain, so he just drained the fluid off of his knee, The doctor told him that it could have been from a spur, due to blood being present. He even went back to work. The only thing that puzzles me is why he never had a blood test. The one nurse said it could be lupus, and that would need a blood test to confirm it, but he never was sent for one. What do you think?

I’ve no guess in this case (I don’t know much about medical)
but I’m glad its nothing serious and he is able to go back to work!! 😀
I know you can get fluid on your knee and no blood test is necessary. I hope he does ok now.
Thank you Carol DM for your imput. Yes, I hope he stays well know as well.
sometimes medicine is guesswork and predictive analytics (what happened before is likely what is happening now).
Thank you DocAnderson, I hope it never comes back.
