Many of you know today is my birthday. Carol mentioned that I should do something just for me today, so I was trying to pant when my cell phone rang. I saw my husband’s number pop up, and I knew something was wrong. His knee cap was very swollen, so we went to the emergency room in our area.
Ray told the doctor that his knee had not been hurt. He noticed the knot when he bent on it at work. He knew he had to get it checked out. The doctor ruled out infection, because the site was not red at all. Ray explained to him, that a year ago his one finger swelled out so bad he could not move it. They thought he had Gout, but he didn’t have it. Now they will try to find the underlying cause for his swollen knee.

So far, how the result of further tests on your beloved husband? Hopefully, he will recover as soon as possible.
He is in pain right now. He went back to work, but he could return having to take an early vacation. Praying!

many greetings of the day but news about your husband was worrisome. Please take care so that he recovers fast.
Did he get X-rays? Looks like he sprained it somehow. I did the same thing about three weeks ago with both knees. Maybe he should ice it and keep it elevated then go back if not better.
Thank you Carol, he has to have blood test to rule out certain things. The doctor thinks something underlining is causing his swollen knee. The xray showed nothing alarming, so he is doing more tests.
