Zoo Lights

During the holidays, the Denver Zoo always puts together a zoo themed lights show. It’s always fun to see. As you’ll see in the video, the lights are setup so that it looks like the “light” animals, bugs, etc. are moving. The last time we went, they also had an acrobatic-fire act and ice sculpture artists too. “Zoo Lights” is definitely a fun family outing. You just have to watch the weather so that you either pick a warm night or that you are dressed properly for cold weather. Once the kiddos get cold, it’s generally time to get going. No amount of flashing lights can warm your munchkins toes, but maybe the promise of some hot chocolate will help extend your stay.
