Wonderful summer-2019 in Finland: lots of holiday events

Finland-2019 is pleased to offer a wide range of opportunities – for lovers of outdoor activities and sports, for romantics and dreamers, for fans of any music (jazz, rock, etc.) and dance, gourmet and just for those who want to have a great summer vacation!

So, what sports events are expected in the country in the summer? You can take part in:

  • various running marathons:  Helsinki Half Marathon 2019 (8 June), Paavo Nurmi Marathon  (17 August, Turku), Helsinki Marathon + 10 km 2019 (24 August), Midnight Run Helsinki (31 August 2019);
  • bicycle races: Royal Cycling (7 July, Lahti);
  • autorally:  Neste Rally Finland (1-4 August, Jyväskylä – Central Finland).

Do you wish something unusual? Then you shouldn’t miss:

  • Trollingträff Åland – Salmon trolling contest 2019 (5-8 June). Lucky anglers will be awarded!;
  • Viaporin Tuoppi – the biggest race for wooden sailboats in Europe (17 August, Suomenlinna – Helsinki).
