In India, Northeast Manipur, the groom wears dhoti (in Manipur language dhoti is called fheijom ). There are two types of dhoti: marriage dhoti (feijom) and common dhoti.
Note : Marriage Dhoti ( Fheijom), is just a simple dhoti (fheijom) no luxury style can be added. So, this dhoti is worn only at the wedding. The second type of Dhoti ( fheijom) is worn at any ritual functions – they are luxurious and we can wear them at any type of style.
In this photo the girl is wearing a potloi. This potloi is worn only at the time of getting married.
