Pakistan election results: Imran Khan’s PTI won 110 seats

Imran Khan’s PTI won 110 seats,27 less than majority ‘coalition’ Government is obvious.Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) leader and former cricketer Imran Khan has won Pakistan elections with 110 seats as the largest Political party of Pakistan likely to form the government with needed 27 more seats as allies.

The Global star cricketer  Imran Khan’s fate in Pakistan’s Political battle field seems revamped and victorious after as many as 22 year of his political activism.

Four controversial affairs and 3 malicious marriage life including the alleged drug addiction at last found it’s way to the power chair with the immense support of voters of Pakistan Nationals.

The much awaited result of Pakistan General Election have come out with the thumping majority of Imran Khan’s PTI.After emerging as the largest party of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Pakistan’s National Assembly, Imran Khan claimed victory in the general elections. But to form the government PTI seeks it’s key alliance which is in the process as per an PTI official’s claim.

However, Imran Khan will need 27 more elected Member’s of Pakistan’s National Assembly to form government and then he will be able to form the coalition government. According to the final results released by the Pakistan Election Commission, PTI has won 110 out of 251 seats.There are a total of 272 seats in the National Assembly.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s party PMN-L, who was also contesting as Imran Khan’s key rival sentenced in the Panama case, has won mere 63 seats. At the same time, Bilawal Bhutto’s Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) accounted for 39 seats.As per the last report, counting is still going on in 20 seats.

Significantly, for the party to form a government on its own, at least 137 seats will be needed directly from the elected seats. There are 342 members in the National Assembly of Pakistan, 272 of which are directly elected in the general elections, while the remaining 60 seats are reserved for women and 10 seats for religious minorities. Parties with more than five per cent votes in the general elections can send their representatives according to the proportional representation on these reserved seats.

Earlier, after the triumph in the trends, PTI President Imran Khan held a press conference. Imran Khan talked about poverty, terrorism, Kashmir issue in the said press conference.

 He said, ‘I want to thank Allah. After 22 years of hard work, my hard work got it’s result. Now I have got the chance to realize my dreams and serve the country. ‘

Imran said that they see democracy strengthening in Pakistan. Despite the many terrorist attacks, elections were successfully held for which he even congratulated the security forces.

He urged,” It should be tried that Pakistan and India should sit and talk on a table and Pakistan is ready to improve relations with India. If the Indian government goes one step further then we will move two steps ahead.”

He said that the media of India made him Bollywood’s villain.

PTI chief Imran Khan said that he has come to politics for the country. Now he has got an opportunity to serve Pakistan. He said that he will fulfill the promises made to people of Pak by his party during election. He said that his policies will be for the weaker section.His party also worry about  poverty which is the biggest challenge and his party has to fight against it.
