On the occasion of Children’s Day!
On June 1 in Bulgaria celebrates Day of the Child.
That’s why I decided to publish a picture taken by my father 49 years ago 🙂
Around the World Children’s Day is celebrated on different dates…
Although the United Nations General Assembly declared the 20th of November as the World Children’s Day, one of the few countries that have adopted this date are Egypt, Canada, Finland, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Yes, Lithuania celebrates it on 1th of June, we have many events for children.
And at us so! Entertainment, Attractions, Music and Performances!

It’s a lovely black and white photo. In our country, we don’t celebrate Children’s Day but rather Children’s Month. We celebrate Children’s month in November. During the month I would usually discuss matters cncerning children such as child’s rights.
I think not one day, not even one month is enough! Every moment must be paid to children!
