National Camera Day is June 28th

Canon celebrates National Camera Day with an indoor summer picnic.

This morning, I decided to check out a Canon workshop about studio photography, although I am more into outdoor photography, and my photographs are candid, random, and spontaneous, in which I feel help me tell an interesting story. So, I just went there with my iPhone. When I arrived, I realized that I forgot my clip-on lens and flash inside my other purse. I always forgot something in my other purses because I am always changing my purses. Upon entering the CEC building, I noticed a picnic-style buffet table and an ice cream cart-style table. I wasn’t hungry, but I am sure most of the food had meet anyway. So, I decided to eat some salad, Cole Slaw, hot dog bun, cheetos bag, and make a veggie sandwich. I also tried the coconut ice cream bar, dipped in chocolate and some powdery stuff, as well as some green tea because of my dehydration issue. After eating, I took some snapshots with my iPhone. There were 4 female models posing in the studio, and the studio was kind of dark for the strobe lights.

Someone was talking about food staging for photo assignments. The ice in these drinks are fake so that they cannot melt during the food photo shoot…

The gang at the condiment bar table were hanging out together, begging passerbys to “squeeze me, squeeze me.” But I didn’t use any. I haven’t eaten this stuff in a long time. 

The ice cream cart woman was at corner, chatting to one of the photographer’s wife and her toddler daughter.

Meanwhile, I noticed I have been sweating a lot this weekend, which started on Friday evening’s walking group as well as this morning’s indoor workshop. Southern Cali is starting to get humid and warmer. I need to remember to drink a lot.
