This Bluebird of Happiness bird was given to me by my son. I was in the hospital and he wanted to make his Momma smile. So he gave me this beautiful little bluebird. He said now Momma you have to keep it beside your bed all the time. Every time you look at it you think of me and smile.
Now after many years of living without my son I still have this special gift. It is always closeby. It is probably the inspiration to raise the bluebird families in my backyard. My son is still making his Momma smile to this day.
Never take one moment for granted. Savor each one you have. Nothing is guaranteed.

Sorry so late in responding. I now have the live bluebirds cheering me up and I believe my son has a hand in that as well! 🙂

I lost my son years ago, this bluebird was a gift from him. I feel like now, in his absence, that he helps bring the happiness to me through bluebirds.
That is true that even though you lose a relative, their spirit remains with you.
