The Ukraine had just elected a comedian, a real professional comedian, Volodymyr Zelensky as President.
Speaking to his supporters he said; “I can say to all countries…anything is possible!”
Mr Zelensky is best known in the Ukraine for starring in a satirical television series in which his character accidentally becomes president. That office holds significant powers over security, defence and foreign policy.
All the political analysts didn’t seem to catch the fact that the Ukrainian people were totally fed up with what was going on and to show their disgust elected a guy who hadn’t even been class president in primary school, much less the country.
What he doesn’t know about politics he will learn on his feet in the office.
And maybe make Trump the second biggest joke.
Trump being elected reminded me of the animated movie called “Batman And Superman: Public Enemies” when Lex Luthor became President of the United States. Luthor as President was basically Superman and Batman’s boss.
