Deja Vu: Second Time Kicked Out Of The Lyceum Pub

It was a pleasant summer evening in Salem. I had gone with the Marie the Revere Girl to see the film Purple Rain. We were relaxing at the Lyceum Pub talking about our exs. She told me about the Mafia connected biker she had dated, I told her about the Sparrow that crashed into the windshield of my ’76 Dodge Aspen, the death of Bodeke on Ash Wednesday 1984 & my rollercoaster relationship with Kathe Camara culminating with the week we got kicked out of the Lyceum Pub after a public display of affection annoyed some of the clientele. The Revere Girl sipped her Vodka & grapefruit Juice. “Think they’ll kick us out? ” she giggled. It didn’t take too many kisses for that all too familiar tap on the shoulder…”The manager would like it if you two leave now…”
