It’s sad, but it also seemed pretty practical. If you are going to break up before Christmas you should do it at least a couple weeks ahead so everyone can make some decisions and return some gifts! I guess I am more practical today than sentimental. Still if you are going to break up I don’t think it should be on Christmas day. That would just be bad.
In NZ we have a very high rate of suicides just before Christmas Day.
Christmas is a highly stressful time for many.
I know exactly what I give to people at Christmas, its usually calendars and don’t really care if I receive in turn but its generally the same people, family and a few friends or people that I want to thank for helping.
