Today I spent a lot of time thinking about this Christmas Every Day post. The same thing kept going through my head. It must be something that needs to be said. “I refuse.”
I refuse to harden my heart, instead I will seek out kind, honest, interesting people to invite into my circle. There are many great people who have things to teach me and are doing great things. I will seek them out.
I refuse to treat anyone with disrespect.
I refuse to allow others to determine my mood, my ideas, my attitude and my ability to love and forgive unconditionally.
I refuse to stop giving praise and kindness to others.
I refuse to let my faults be my guiding light.
I refuse to give up on innocent children. They didn’t choose their parents.
I refuse to let Christmas die.
