When the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01 happened in New York, in Washington DC, and in Pennsylvania, we vowed to never forget. Eighteen years later since that infamous, we choose to not forget that we must continue to fight against all forms of terrorism.
Ever since 9/11, the US military has been at war in Afghanistan and in Iraq. However, the war on terror is not complete because the source of terror has not been depleted. For the past seven years, a legal case in California is still in litigation. The lawsuit is against the country of Saudi Arabia in which the plaintiff wants to publicly release information that Saudi Arabia was linked to the terror attacks on 9/11. 15 of the 19 hijackers were born in Saudi Arabia.
For today, take the time to mourn all of those who lost their lives on 9/11/01. Never forget.
Gee, it’s been a long time but I feel like it happened just a few years ago.
Yeah, the eighteen years went pretty fast.
Such a day cannot be forgotten. The daughter of a co-worker died in that attack.
My condolences to her family. Nobody deserves to die in a senseless attack.
I hope the lawsuit becomes public soon.. We must never forget. The families are in my thoughts.
Yes, my condolences to everyone. I’m surprised that the lawsuit was not thrown out of court because the US is allied to Saudi Arabia.
