She came from the interview feeling so positive. She was more than qualified for the post.
Dominique had not been nervous at all during the interview, she had answered the questions easily, completely.
She left the office, went home, feeling good.
The job was a lot of work, sure. A lot of responsibility. She wouldn’t have those snipped hours; and might have to work late, even on weekends.
The pay was good, the perqs were great, and she wanted the position not just for it’s bragging rights, but because she knew she could do it.
She went home, feeling positive about herself, and as a treat, ran a hot bubble bath, took a glass of wine, and lounged in the tub.
Dominique prepared herself to lose all this down time once she took the post. Not a problem
