Tales of a Trouble Shooter – Tip 6 (c)

The wise troubleshooter often enters the premises as a guest/client/customer.   In this way, they get a taste of the business from Ground Zero.

Enter as empty as you can, with no preconceived  notions, no expectations.   Wander in as Alice in Wonderland.

See everything, feel everything, hear everything.   Focus on what is around you, and happening to you.

Are you standing and waiting ‘forever?’   Does the staff ignore you?   Is there a ‘Keisha?’ (my term for a person who lives on the phone, blind to what is before her).

Does the staff act as if you are a burden?   Do they behave as if you are annoying them?

Are they too friendly in that creepy false way?

Is everything a chore, from walking to a room or getting an item, or is it smooth?

Would  you come here if you weren’t paid to?
