Possible Scam

<a href="http://www.alanrudnick.org/2014/07/11/scam/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Source</a>

I have just received an email announcing that it is my earning site owner (I don’t want to publish the company name ,the company is legit!).

The email said it is coming from the legit well known company and it said there is an agreement and policy change that all users need to verify the age and birth date. After following the seemed legit steps, I found the API of my site opened and buy a evoucher automatically but I don’t have the activation code so that I lost all my money.

Finally I am realized that I could be scammed by someone pretending to be the site owner and scam me.

Hope anyone will aware the similar situation.
