The question the previous article raises is how does a business, be it a dormitory, supermarket, gas station, office, (fill in any possible venture) perform to the ignorance of those ‘in charge’?
Being too hands off is the foundation of destruction.
Appointing anyone, from a C.E.O., to a Matron, to a cleaner, and not actively monitoring their performance might be survivable, IF the person so appointed has the authority to make decisions.
IF the person ‘in charge’ has no authority, unless those ‘in charge’ are on spot, this is the end of that business.
These two mistakes, that is the owner’s disinterest and the persons appointed without authority, are responsible for the destruction of most businesses.
Great information. Thanks for the contribution.
