Memorial Day Businesses Reopening…

Monday, May 25, 2020

Many stores have reopened today. Some include Macys, Nordstrom, Bed Bath Beyond, Sephora, Kohls, Land’s End, Nike, TJX, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Ulta, Gap, Glossier, Ikea, Abercrombie & Fitch, Lululemon, Urban Outfitters, Anthropolgie, Free People, Terrain, Publix, and Levis. Hence, the malls are probably open, as well, since many department stores have opened. Other stores include Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta, Janie & Jack. But some might be open for online shopping and store pickups. So, it is still best to call the store to make sure.

But I noticed that J. Crew have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They closed 491 stores because of this One World Lockdown. JCPenney and Neiman Marcus have all filed bankruptcy. But fewer stores might still be open.

At around 3 pm, I took a stroll to mini Target, across the street, before deciding to continue my walk to Albertson, which is nearby. While inside Albertsons, I remembered Gumby just finished his canned food. So, I decided to buy Fancy Feast cans. I also got some Crazy Glue and Blessed Candles. I walked back home with to heavy plastic bags, hoping they won’t tear on the way, even though the bags were doubled so they wouldn’t tear. It was hot outside. I returned home, and decided to go to big Target, where I ended up get 3 peach-colored bedroom accessories.

On the way home, I dropped by Supercuts to notice that they are still closed.

I noticed on my Instagram that UCI has started classroom instruction today.

I feel like going walking inside the mall. I will call the malls to make sure they are open.

I ended up walking 2.5 miles and 6,837 steps.
