Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) believes that her poll numbers are at zero percent due to “gender bias.” She is claiming that she is not gaining traction in the 2020 Democratic Primary for President because she is a woman.
However, I think that she is making an excuse. Three other women are running for President in the primary, but Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Rep. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) have not made the same excuse as Sen. Gillibrand.
Although a woman has never been a US President, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton almost became President in 2016. Even though she lost, she has not made the excuse of her being a woman as the reason why things did not go her way. She made about 100 excuses from Russian interference to the outdated electoral college, but she did not use the cop-out of “gender bias.” If there was gender bias in this situation, then women would not even be allowed to run for President like in the Middle East.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, please stop whining and stop running for President.
With so many candidates that have already been established, even a man would have trouble.
If that is so will she revisit her strategy
