When an employee becomes demotivated they stop caring, stop actually working. They will arrive and vegetate, and if called upon for a task, will do so without the slightest concern or interest.
Their mentality is that of a slave or a prisoner. And although they may not even know the word ‘demotivation’ they are sterling examples.
To avoid demotivation the employer has to be aware it exists. In many cases, the employer is so obnoxious he doesn’t even think of his staff as human.
