The workout: Vuori ACTV Club Challenge

I needed today’s workout after feeling anxiety from the outside world. There are just those times when I need to shut out the outside world and just do me, and today was that day.

I started this workout on the stationary bike in order to shake things up because typically I start my workouts out with the run. Currently in pursuit of strava badge ‘Vuori ACTV Club Challenge’ which requires four days of workouts per week for two weeks at a minimum of 20 minutes. I futured that I would get my 20 minutes on the stationary bike today instead of running on the treadmill.

Lately, I have been incorporating yoga in with my workouts of the day and it has been going great. I have been very consistent with putting in at least 5 minutes towards yoga during every visit to the gym. And the time goes by fast being that I like the poses I add which contributes to the muscle groups I wish to target. Today’s workout consisted of:

  • 4.38 mile stationary bike
  • 1.00 mile treadmill run/walk
  • 5 minute yoga: tree left, tree right, chair, warrior 1 left, warrior 2 right
  • 2 minute plank
  • 30 bicycle crunches
  • 30 push ups
  • 1 minute plank
  1. Cookie neck gaiter
  2. Camouflage hoodie by Old Navy
  3. Running tights by Gore Running Wear
