The workout

Every time I go out to whatever business I intend on visiting, I anticipate seeing if it is open because of the pandemic that is going around the world called the coronavirus. It seems that businesses and events are closing down shop or pushing back whatever events they may have going on out of precaution, but the real businesses and events that are for the people are standing their ground.  I just saw a tweet this morning about the Milwaukee Marathon being canceled due to the virus. The poster was angry because the event offered a virtual run in replacement instead of pushing the date back. A virtual run is nowhere near like running the actual course. In other words, Milwaukee Marathon just pretty much took everyone’s money and ran with it which is total bullshit. No refund, just a virtual run option and medal mail out upon completion of the virtual run wherever you choose it to be.

Anyway….

As of late I have been incorporating lemon water into my diet, and it has been cutting back my eating habits throughout the day. I am curious how it will fare when I incorporate my abdominal workouts with this newly found diet routine. Since it has been nearly a week since I have worked out, I just had to do something today and the gym was it, due to the weather.

I love reading my book on the stationary bike. Seemingly, I tend to feel the emotions of the writer through what is read which seems hit or miss when I am not on the stationary bike. Typically it’s the first workout I do because my adrenaline is so high near end that my focus is not there to even consider reading anything.

My workout consisted of:

  • 8.00 mile stationary bike ride
  • 1.00 mile run
  • 40 sit ups
  • 10 dips
  • 10 pull ups
  • 10 dips
  • 10 pull ups
