Snapshots from a Dream

Thursday, November 15, 2018

I woke up early today, and I remembered two snapshots from a dream, which is like postcards from wherever I went in the dream. The first snapshot was one peacock feather lying on the ground. It looked pretty and mesmerizing, as I just stood there staring at it for the longest time. The second snapshot was a round steel tray with juicy and pink grapefruit wedges. And, the juicy, very pink wedges just glistened and sparkled under the bright sunlight overhead, as the tray was offered to me. When I looked at it, my mouth watered because it looked very juicy and thirst quenching.

I looked up peacock feather on the internet. In Hindi, it symbolizes beauty and knowledge. The eye in the feather symbolizes the divine wisdom or 3rd eye. It has to do with attaining the highest knowledge of self. It also symbolizes good fortune, compassion, kindness, and patience. Moreover, it also symbolizes immortality and spiritual renewal, which might have to do with a reawakening towards having new thoughts and opinions about my life.

Grapefruit in a dream symbolizes well-being and a refreshed state of mind. I will experience a sudden uplift in my spirits, and my body will be rejuvenated. It is also connected with popularity, juiciness, and health. Since it is also bitter and acidic, it might involve something good that I might not like. But since it looked very juicy, yummy, and pink in my dream, inviting me to quench my thirst, I see it as a positive sign, which indicates it might have to do with arriving at a time in my life where everything will be fantastic. And, everything I do will achieve success. (God-Willing). I might be even living my own version of the high life. Grapefruit symbolizes my successful independence from something or someone, which may be something I have always longed for, for the longest time.

This analysis sounds good. I wonder if it is true. The snapshots appeared to be in a positive way because it felt very clear and beautiful, offering me strength and power. It felt like it was a Divine Guidance message, whether from God or one of his Angels.
