One of the reasons that I love Virily is that is challenges me to learn new things.Someone mentioned that they used to be a “people pleaser”.(This post in no way reflects on that person – what that person deemed people pleasing may be very different. It was just the comment that spurred me to research.)
Although I have heard the term many times I had never taken the time to do a little research and see what it is truly all about. There is a lot of information out there on this subject and much of it I had wrong. So I learned a lot and that is always a good thing.
Some of the key characteristics listed as things that are common among people pleasers’ are
~ Easily disappointed (takes any criticism to heart)
~ Eager to help others
~ Have a hard time saying no to anyone in need
~ Often display a fear of abandon
~ Doesn’t often make independent decisions
~ Uses good deeds and helping others to try and improve their self esteem
Anything in an extreme can turn into a problem. If these traits are taking up all of your time and your goals are set aside constantly because you are helping others, you may want to seek balance.
I think we all are but in varying degrees.
I think we’re all people pleasers to a certain extent.
Yeah , its good plateform where you can find all kind of nature stuff
