Stay quiet

it is night

the soul is in fight

struggling

to settle waves

that heave

up and down

how is the question

to douse a fire

you need water

so get thoughts

that counter those

that ignite

or better still

kill thoughts

and let mind

stay at rest

no thoughts

no chemicals

ever ooze

and canopy

stays quiet

in zen

and pretty nirvana

try

try

try!

  1. Is it really possible to have no thoughts, or to kill thoughts?

Who is this non-thinker that would be left, if this was possible, are we not our thoughts?

    “What you think, you become.
    What you feel, you attract.
    What you imagine, you create.”

    Buddha

Is it possible then for us to have no thoughts, and why would we want to?

The Christian Bible says that God has thoughts higher than ours, so rather than no thoughts, could we aspire to thinking these God-like higher thoughts in ourselves too.

John 1 King James Version (KJV)

Verse 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The thought or the word precedes all else, as in the beginning was this word, claims the Bible also, and God spoke it into action through his love reaching into it empowering the thought into being, and creating all from this one thought of which now all else depends on, in a way, as everything else are pages or linkages to this one word thought of God’s that begun it all.

What was this one word, word, it was love.

The word love, carries within itself the power of God’s love.
