In the light,
they said
you show your age.
What age is that slips
from the world
escaping the bonds that bind us.
Age is a child.
With toys stewn about a room
sitting
in the middle
the job was clean the room
the goal was finish
the result was playing with
a new toy taken from the shelf
to be left on the ground.
You show your age.
But there is no answer to the laughing
when your age falls
and with toys strewn around you
laughs.
Come back
when you show my age.

I do not hide my age. But I feel at the age of my grandchildren. And this is very important.
Feeling the age of others can be interesting. I do the same feeling the age of my children!
