WINGS OF THE WINDS

WINGS OF THE WINDS

Every river weaves to an ocean

And every ocean needs a river

There’s no magic potion

Just a blessing from up high…

There are times

And there are seasons

when the sun fires up the sky,

In those times

The sun dries up all the air

And like a woman bound in chains

Rains of clouds are held

deep in dark despair,

A masquerade for tears

Sleeping awake

the streets are numbed by their fears…

When the valleys are low

And the deep falls to falter

The oceans start to roar,

A cry out for the earth to tremble

like a woman who groans in travail

At the fullness of her pain

her voices up and fly away…

In that season

the gravity holds no time

Then when the winds say so

Like a warrior that fights

The flood storms in

upon the wings of the winds,

Like waterfalls the water falls…

Every ocean needs a river

And every river leads to their ocean…
