Flying high

on a tar road

I walked airs

then fell into a ditch

looking at death in face

then came a rabbit

with nibbled carrot

in mouth

we both ate it bright

suddenly laced with energy

I jumped back to tar

where an alsatian

waited near not far

he liked me so much

that he barked

I did likewise

soon I was ahead

and dog behind

trying to befriend me good

running is not easy

banana peels can come

here came one

I slipped and flew high

on mountain peak

I found myself

there a polar bear

patrolled

he looked sharp

smudged

with snow

to him

I looked like a seal

his nostrils

sensed a meal

I had to run down

the slope

slipping like a seal

my worries, I hope,

you can feel

then sun popped back up

and from evening

it was back to day time

bear fell there and then

for another daytime snooze

do you think

I am writing this

under the influence of booze!
