Three things stand agog in my mind

mystery, escape

and hope

mystery is about

many things that may happen yet

on many I do bet

and hopes hinge there

escape is from many

things and events

that I want

again hope is hinged to outcomes

whether it would be this or that

and then finally it is hope

whose stock

I am holding in my bowl of life

whether it would be filled

or not is to be seen

as mysteries solve

and escapes

come about!
