Paintdrips
I love creating these collages. There is something really addictive about them. I get to use up old magazines and catalogs instead of throwing them away, so I feel good about myself. Plus, I get to create art, which makes me feel fulfilled. How can I go wrong with these? The cowboy collage took lots of pieces of black and dark brown. These collages have only one real drawback. The magazines and catalogs are not archival quality paper, which means that in a few decades they will fade and yellow. The art will be lost. However I don’t see it a futile. I see it as digital. I capture the product with a camera and the digital image lives much longer than the original art.
