Takashi Murakami Artwork

I enter the Martin Lawrence gallery to browse at some artworks. I notice Takashi Murakami paintings and sculptures. I immediately notice 60s themes as well as Alice in Wonderland themes, as well as the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I noticed dark situations being transformed into happy and cutesy scenes, like a façade. It kind of reminded of black comedy movies. I also noticed some manga/anime pop art drawings, which were simple.

In this video, Takashi Murakami explains his artwork.
