Speed Swimmer Watercolor

I saw her photo in the newspaper I think.  She had just won a gold medal t the Summer Olympics and I loved the focus and determination in her eyes.  So I used her as a model for my splash painting.  I basically threw paint all over the paper and then painted the subject.  It meant that many parts of her were contaminated with the splash colors but I think that added to the focus on her face.  It was a fun and interesting experiment but I know it wouldn’t work with just any painting.

Do you agree?
