Wincing she turned
this back and then that back
bed smelled of chloroform,
tincture and capsules of many kind
as the drip pit patted beside
I looked in her perfect face
oval, fair, shapely lips
blue eyes red cheeks
blonde mien
from where was she terminally sick
her report said thus
my world had fallen since
shrugged shoulders
low spirits dying soon
her eyes sparked in love
lips quivered
whispering -I am gone
we fell in arms
clenched hard
body to body
lips to lips
seeking truth
this moving flesh would not move
after a while
I felt her fingers
nail my back with strength
you see she never wanted to leave me
but in hours or days
she will have
and, I cannot stop!
Tears tears in floods
hiccups in trains
and lo ! she is gone.
You can laugh heartily here by reading these books.
