Simone Signoret is a french actress I always admired and it was time that I should give her credit by making a great clairobscur drawing of her, reflecting somehow the epoque of film noir. I found a beautiful picture of her in her younger days and I saw some great diagonals providing me something to hold on whilst experimenting with her portrait in a cubistic way.
