Paintdrips
Another in my series of wrinkled paper angels, this one is holding a rose so I named her Rose. I love the little angel children sitting on clouds doing whatever angels do. The wrinkled paper effect adds a little abstract element to a very traditional medium. It makes me feel like I’m marrying a bit of the old with the new. I paint the background clouds first on the wet wrinkled paper and then when dry, paint the detailed angel.
