Past the night

day recoiled

its serpentine travails

memories grew sharp

about next day schedule

sleep was gone

as heavy were they all set

in darkness lot of ugliness hides

but not within minds

rather its gets highlighted

and squirms deep

like a worm wriggling inside

with strain.
